Epcot and Disney&#8217;s Hollywood Studios are expected to restart their operation from 15 July.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, Disney has resumed limited operations at its four\nparks in Asia, and at Disney Springs &#8211; an outdoor shopping mall in Orlando. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Some of Disney competitors, <a href=\"http:\/\/orlando.interplex.net\/\">SeaWorld Orlando and Universal Orlando<\/a>, reopened to visitors several weeks ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Visitors at Disney parks will be required to wear masks and other\nsafety measures will be introduced across the complex in Orlando.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More than a quarter of a million cases of coronavirus have been reported in\nFlorida, along with 4,200 deaths.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Disney closed the resort in March for the first time during the\nearly months of America&#8217;s pandemic. While Covid-19 infections were mostly\nconcentrated in New York and California at first, Florida is among the several\nstates recording a rise in cases in recent weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Josh D&#8217;Amaro, Disney&#8217;s theme park chairman, said in an interview\nwith the New York Times that \u201cthe world is changing\u201d, but they strongly believe\nthat they can open \u201csafely and responsibly.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Due to health and safety measures, the company has a responsibility to \u201cfigure out the best approach\u201d to safely operate \u201cin this new normal.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/world-us-canada-53371336\">BBC<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Walt Disney World Resort has begun to reopen in Florida despite a Covid-19 surge across the US state.
