The company later released statements to the press about the impact the documentary would have on its reputation and business.<\/p>\n<p>The fine was announced Tuesday after the Commission filed a complaint in federal court in New York, charging SeaWorld and former CEO James Atchison that they misled investors about the negative impact of &#8220;Blackfish\u201d and thus violated antifraud provisions of federal securities laws.
