A Mysterious new ride is coming to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
One of the biggest rides in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter will close permanently and Universal Orlando promises a huge new attraction will replace it.
In early September, the Dragon Challenge is going away and construction for a new attraction will begin. No further details have been released, but Universal says it will make way to something “highly themed with a few surprise.”
In a blog post, the theme park announced only a few days ago it is planning to make a “new generation of thrill ride” in the park. The new ride will replace the existing Dragon Challenge coaster at the Hogsmeade section of the Wizarding World in the Islands of Adventure theme park. SeaWorld to Introduce Virtual Reality Roller Coaster
Central Florida‘s first virtual-reality roller coaster will be introduced next summer. Riders on Kraken will be offered virtual-reality headsets covering their eyes and ears. The riders will have the sensation of being on a mission through the sea amid mythical and prehistoric creatures.

Cedar Point Opens Latest Record Breaking Roller Coaster
Cedar Point, in Sandusky, Ohio is clearly on the hunt for thrill-seekers with its newest addition, dubbed Valravn which is the latest record breaking roller coaster. After months of anticipation from coaster fans across the country, Cedar Point opened to the public its newest addition last Saturday- the same day the park opened for the season.
Named after a supernatural raven from Danish folklore, the new ride Valravn (VAL’-ray-vuhn) is now recognized as the tallest, fastest and longest dive coaster. The Cedar Point’s new attraction is the third dive coaster to open in the United States. Skyplex Approved by Orange County Commissioners
It looks like Skyscraper, the world’s tallest roller coaster, will be coming to Orlando’s International Drive.
Orange County’s Board of commissioners on Tuesday unanimously approved the proposed $500 million Skyplex Orlando development on the I-Drive and Sand Lake Road intersection.

Skyplex Project Hits Snag: Orange County Board Votes ‘No’ on World’s Tallest Roller Coaster
The Skyplex project on International Drive near Orlando hit a snag. The Orange County Planning and Zoning Commission voted 4-3 on Thursday against the proposal for the $500 million Skyplex complex, which would include a 570-foot polercoaster, called The Skyscraper.
Skyplex developer Joshua Wallack unveiled Skyscraper’s design at 2014 IAAPA trade show at the Orange County Convention Center. Along with the world’s tallest roller coaster, Skyscraper, the Skyplex development will include a 450-foot SkyFall drop tower, a state-of-the-art open-air plaza, the SkyFly 600-foot zipline, a 350-room hotel and the largest Perkins in the world. The Next Orlando’s Tallest, Longest and Fastest Roller Coaster is Coming
SeaWorld Orlando has recently announced that it is building a new hypercoaster that will be the tallest, fastest and longest ever in Florida.
Named Mako, the new attraction is inspired by mako sharks, also called “blue pointers”, the fastest of all species of sharks in the world and known for making extreme jumps and the ability of quickly change course when they are hunting for food.

The Fury 325 Giga Coaster in North Carolina Hits Speeds Up to 95 mph
Are you seeking for new adrenaline fuels? If you are brave enough, then book a trip to Charlotte to take a ride on the brand new Fury 325 at Carowinds Amusement Park in North Carolina. Once the giga coaster opens on March 28, it will be one of the tallest, fastest and longest roller coasters in the world.
The new attraction began construction on September 2014 as a part of a planned $50 million multi-year expansion at Carowinds amusement park. The coaster was officially announced by Carowinds on August 21, 2014 at an event that was held at the parks Harmony Hall Marketplace. Orlando to get the world’s tallest roller coaster
On June 5, Michael Kitchen, the President of Orlando-based US Thrill Rides officially announced at a press conference on International Drive that the world’s taller roller coaster, also known as the Polercoaster, is coming to I-Drive in 2016.
