Orlando to get the world’s tallest roller coaster
On June 5, Michael Kitchen, the President of Orlando-based US Thrill Rides officially announced at a press conference on International Drive that the world’s taller roller coaster, also known as the Polercoaster, is coming to I-Drive in 2016.

Momondo.co.uk, a top metasearch, released the results of their UK flight search data. For the last three month, Orlando in the United States’ ‘Sunshine State’ Florida is the top most-searched destination amongst the British vacationers.
Orlando is a desired destination for the beaches but most of all for the great variety of entertainment options it offers to the tourists. It is widely famous for Disney Resort, fast rides and killer whale shows.
Alicante and Malaga in Spain appeared in the 3rd and 4th position on the list of the top most popular holiday destinations for this summer.
Harry Potter’s Diagon Alley and Hogwarts Express to open by mid-summer
Universal has recently announced new details for the highly anticipated expansions to the theme park in Orlando. A wildly ambitious project, unprecedentedly connecting two theme lands: the original Universal Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Islands of Adventure and the new London-themed area at Universal Studios Florida. The Hogwarts Express train ride is set to connect them, offering an exciting journey, authentic to the one in the movie; with characters and magical creatures from the book: the Weasley twins on their brooms, the Knight Bus in London traffic, Hagrid on his flying motorbike. Universal’s Cabana Bay is welcoming its first guests
Universal Orlando opened a brand new resort on March 31. Cabana Bay Beach Resort will be the fourth on-site hotel at Universal Orlando Resort. The hotel features a retro Googie style and its look evokes the beach resorts from the late 1950s and 60s. SeaWorld killer whales released back to the ocean?
SeaWorld San Diego could be forced to stop its killer whale shows by a California bill that would ban using orcas in performances, keeping them in captivity, end breeding programs, as well as the import and export of the animals. Similar bills are proposed by activists in Florida and Texas where SeaWorld has theme parks. The bill was inspired by the documentary “Blackfish”, a Magnolia Pictures production. Orlando’s hotels and restaurants are getting better
The Orlando area proves to be becoming more and more attractive for tourists. The great Florida climate and the many attractions around are drawing more people to come here for a vacation. The Orlando International Airport and the nearest port – Port Canaveral are set to expand in the next years and Orlando’s hotels and restaurant are ready to meet their guests with a high class service. Orlando-area hotels saw the destination’s highest-ever revenue per available room (RevPAR) in 2013, according a report cited by the Orlando Sentinel. Last year, the figure hit $72.04, up 7.8 percent year-over-year, and slightly higher than the previous record of $71.79, which was set in 2007 at the pre-recession height of the local hotel market.
