SpaceX launched a mysterious Air Force X-37B space plane ahead of Irma’s arrival
Elon Musk’s space company can add another first to its ever-increasing list. Only two days ago, it successfully launched the U.S. Air Force’s X-37B experimental space plane. This is the first time for SpaceX to launch the X-37B, which has run four missions previously but the launch vehicle was always United Launch Alliance Atlas 5 rocket.

Hunger Games And Twilight Are Getting Their Own Theme Park
Hunger Games and Twilight are getting their own zones at a theme park in South Korea. The company that owns both movies is planning to open a theme park in South Korea which will bring those films to life.
Twilight and Hunger Games film franchises may have ended years ago but the film studio Lionsgate Movie World will be opening a new theme park in South Korea in 2019. The park will be a 1.3-million-square-foot and will allow visitors to enjoy the blockbusters Twilight and Hunger Games.
The new theme park will reportedly feature state-of-the-art rides, attractions, reproduced streets and towns, and will offer the fans a new way to relive and adore the films.
The new theme park will feature seven distinct parks, each themed around one of Lionsgate’s blockbuster films: Twilight, The Hunger Games, Divergent, Now You See Me, Saw, The Cabin In The Woods and the upcoming Robin Hood, which stars Taron Egerton in the main role and will be released in 2018. Florida Airports Battling Over Word ‘Orlando’
The battle among three Florida airports about who can use the word “Orlando” in their names continues.
Orlando International Airport is demanding that the Orlando Melbourne International Airport and the Orlando Sanford International Airport remove the ‘Orlando’ name as it claims it misleads passengers. However, it seems the airports will not find a resolution soon.

Universal to Replace Dragon Challenge With New Harry Potter Ride
A Mysterious new ride is coming to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
One of the biggest rides in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter will close permanently and Universal Orlando promises a huge new attraction will replace it.
In early September, the Dragon Challenge is going away and construction for a new attraction will begin. No further details have been released, but Universal says it will make way to something “highly themed with a few surprise.”
In a blog post, the theme park announced only a few days ago it is planning to make a “new generation of thrill ride” in the park. The new ride will replace the existing Dragon Challenge coaster at the Hogsmeade section of the Wizarding World in the Islands of Adventure theme park. Disney World’s Cirque du Soleil Show Closes This December
Cirque du Soleil closes La Nouba at Walt Disney World after a 19-year run and thousands of performances.
The final performance will be held at Disney Springs on Dec. 31, according to the Disney Parks Blog.
La Nouba premiered in late 1998 and was the first Cirque show to have a permanent residence in a city outside of Las Vegas. There have been more than 8,500 performances of the show and more than 10 million guests have enjoyed it, according to Disney.

NASA Delays Satellite Launch by More than Two Weeks to Replace Damaged Antenna
NASA has delayed the launch of a major communications satellite by more than two weeks in order to replace a damaged antenna. One of the antennas on the Tracking and Data Relay Satellite had been broken earlier this month during final launch preparations. The liftoff is now targeted for Aug. 20 from Cape Canaveral, Florida aboard an Atlas V rocket.

NASA Tests to Rumble Space Coast in August
NASA’s research to advance supersonic flight will produce loud booms along Canaveral National Seashore on Space Coast. Residents near the area around Kennedy and Cape Canaveral Air Force Station could hear more than 30 booms during flights next month, NASA officials said Monday.
Researchers from Langley Research Center in Virginia and Armstrong Flight Research Center, NASA’s primary center for atmospheric flight research and operations, are planning to conduct a series of tests. The two-week investigation is starting in August at Kennedy Space Center. The tests are part of the Sonic Booms in Atmospheric Turbulence flights, called SonicBAT. They will help researchers understand how atmospheric turbulence affects the sonic booms residents hear when aircraft fly faster than the speed of sound. Virtual Reality Added to SeaWorld’s Oldest Roller Coaster
SeaWorld has just completed the makeover of its 17-year-old roller coaster.
Kraken is the first major ride in Florida to add the high-tech option of virtual reality goggles. Although it is a major makeover for the coaster, it doesn’t involve any changes to the track.
The renovated coaster is getting a new name, Kraken Unleashed. SeaWorld gives its guests the feeling of simulated reality through technology that projects an undersea showdown with the ride’s namesake monster.

Disney Parks See Slight Drop in Attendance as Prices Rise
A new report shows attendance at Disney Parks is down for the first time in a decade. Increased ticket prices led to the decline in attendance.
Last year, Magic Kingdom in Orlando topped the list of most visited theme parks around the globe with more than 20.3 million visitors. Moreover, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios also made it in the Top 10.

SpaceX Launches Once-Used Cargo Spacecraft
The company is making history again- for the first time, SpaceX reuses one of its Dragon cargo capsules.
This evening, SpaceX is launching another one of its Falcon 9 rockets. It is the 100th launch from Launch Pad 39A at Kennedy Space Center, Florida and the spacecraft is sending cargo and supplies to the International Space Station for NASA.
However, this will be the first time that SpaceX will send a once-used cargo spacecraft. The Dragon cargo capsule launching tonight was first used to deliver supplies to the International Space Station in 2014. The Dragon stayed about a month at the station then landed with the help of parachutes in the Pacific Ocean. Afterward, it was inspected and refurbished by Space X. A few components have been swapped out, mostly those that came in contact with sea water when the spacecraft splashed down into the ocean. Moreover, a new heat shield was added.
